Collaboration Reveals Results

Nursing students from Baker University School of Nursing are frequently on site to collaborate and provide care as a whole for the Marian Clinic patients. The partnership allows nursing students the ability to practice with a patient and provide the ability for the patient to be referred to a physician when appropriate.

“Dentistry and medicine are often seen as two separate health care providers,” said Krista Hahn. “This partnership demonstrates how our two professions can work together to improve population health. It’s an amazing thing to watch and be a part of.”
